September 20, 2010


Young journalists (30 years of age and younger) are invited to upload their articles, video, audio, photo, and PDF files to Youthmedia.eu and AYCN.net [The Asian Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC) Young Communicators Network], two social networks for young media makers from Asia and Europe.

The competition has three categories:

  1. What does "Freedom of Young Media" mean to you and your media?
  2. How are you reporting on "Freedom of Young Media" in your media?
  3. What challenges regarding "Freedom of Young Media" are you facing during your work?

Prizes for the winners:

  1. Prize: Adobe software package
  2. Prize: DELL Netbook
  3. Prize: Microsoft software package

The contest is initiated by AMIC and the European Youth Parliament (EYP) and supported by Adobe, DELL, Internews, the European Center Singapore, and Reporters Without Borders.
