Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a very common condition in the U.S., yet is persistently under-diagnosed and undertreated.
The syndrome is associated with dramatic effects on quality of life issues due to sleep deficiency, which results in fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and associated depression.
Although the pathophysiology of RLS is not completely understood, there are effective therapies available for patients suffering from this syndrome.
