Free Training in New Orleans — Safe Rehabilitation of Hurricane-damaged

Homes HUD is launching a free 4-hour training program for homeowners, contractors and volunteers on safely rehabilitating homes damaged by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. You can download the Course Manual and respirator guide. Starting April 18th, courses will be offered at many locations around New Orleans. The training gives step-by-step instructions on safe and proper cleanup and mold removal; and practical tips to avoid fraudulent contractors. See below for the course schedule and registration.
